Good morning, church family! I’m so glad you’re here today. Whether you’re joining us in person or online, you are deeply loved and welcomed. This morning, I want to remind you of a beautiful truth: God’s love is limitless, His power is immeasurable, and His plans for your life are beyond anything you could imagine. Today, we’ll be diving into a powerful passage of Scripture from Ephesians 3:14-21, where Paul prays that we would grasp the depth of God’s love.
As we worship and learn together, I pray that your heart will be encouraged and your faith strengthened. Let’s come expectantly before the Lord today, trusting Him to meet us right where we are!

Scripture and Invitation
As we prepare our hearts to worship, let’s reflect on the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:16-17:
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.”

Introduction to the Passage
Today, we’ll read from John 2:1-11, the account of Jesus’ first miracle—turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana. This passage shows us the power of Jesus and His compassion for the needs of others.
The Events of the Passage
In this story, we see Jesus’ divine authority revealed in a simple, yet miraculous way. When the wine ran out at the wedding, Jesus turned six stone jars of water into the finest wine. This miracle reminds us that Jesus cares about even the smallest details of our lives and that He is able to provide abundantly.
Scripture (NIV): John 2:1-11
1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4 “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,
9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
11 What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

Heavenly Father, we bow before You in awe of Your love. Just as Paul prayed in Ephesians 3:14-21, we ask that You strengthen us with Your Spirit so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. Help us grasp how wide and long and high and deep is Your love, so that we may be filled to the measure of all Your fullness.
