Section 2. Call to Worship

Scripture and Prayer

This morning, as we begin, let’s focus our hearts on the goodness and faithfulness of God. Hear these words from Psalm 118:24:
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Let’s pause for a moment to center ourselves in God’s presence. Would you pray with me?

“Father, You are so good to us. You’ve given us a new day, and we rejoice in Your love and faithfulness. As we worship You today, let our hearts be lifted, our burdens be released, and our spirits be refreshed in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Section 3. Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with grateful hearts. Thank You for bringing us together as a family to worship and honor You. Open our minds to Your Word and our hearts to Your love. Help us to hear Your voice clearly and to walk in the identity You’ve given us as Your children. May this time together bring You glory and fill us with peace and purpose. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Section 4. Praise and Worship

Let’s Lift Our Voices

Worship is such a beautiful way to connect with God and express our love for Him. This morning, we’re going to sing songs that remind us of God’s faithfulness and His unchanging love. Whether you’re singing with all your heart or simply reflecting on the words, I encourage you to let this time be an offering of praise to the One who deserves it all.

Let’s worship together with joy and gratitude!

Section 5. Scripture Reading

Introduction

Today’s Scripture is from Isaiah 62:1-5. This passage paints a beautiful picture of God’s unwavering commitment to His people. It speaks of restoration, hope, and the joy that comes when God takes delight in us.

The Events in the Passage

Isaiah is speaking to the people of Israel during a time when they felt abandoned and defeated. But God, through the prophet, declares that He will not rest until His people shine with His righteousness. He promises a new identity and relationship, one filled with love and joy, like a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 62:1-5 (NIV)

1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.

2 The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.

3 You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.

5 As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice over you.

Section 6. Pastoral Prayer or Intercessory Prayer

Intercessory Prayer

Father, we thank You for this beautiful promise from Isaiah. You remind us that we are never forgotten, never abandoned, but deeply loved and cherished. Lord, we lift up those in our community who feel alone or distant from You. Bring restoration, healing, and hope into their lives. May we, as a church, be a beacon of Your light and love to those who need it most.

Congregational Prayer Response

Lord, we thank You for calling us by a new name. We rejoice in Your promise to delight in us and to make us radiant in Your presence. Help us to live as Your chosen people, reflecting Your glory in all we do. Amen.

Section 7. Offering

Message on Tithes and Offerings

Giving is not just something we do—it’s an act of worship that reflects our trust in God and gratitude for all He’s provided. When we give, we honor Him and participate in His work of restoring and redeeming lives.

Prayer of Thanks

Heavenly Father, thank You for every blessing You’ve poured into our lives. As we give today, we do so with hearts full of gratitude. Use these tithes and offerings to further Your kingdom and bring hope to our community. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Section 8. Special Music

Introduction to Special Music

As we continue in worship, let’s take a moment to quiet our hearts and reflect on the beauty of God’s love and promises. This special music is not just a song—it’s a prayer, a declaration, and a reminder of the God who never stops pursuing us, calling us by name, and rejoicing over us. Allow these lyrics to speak to your soul and prepare your heart for the message to come.
